Location. The Sheraton Boston is located in the historic Back Bay of Boston, Mass. It provides indoor access to the Hynes Convention Center, the Prudential and Copley Place malls, and an underground subway station via the escalators leading to the second floor. The Sheraton Boston is one-half block from the Boston Marathon route and three blocks from the finish line.
Hotel Features. The lobby includes a lounge, restaurant and gift shop. The Sheraton Boston offers 70,000 square feet of meeting space and access to the Hynes Convention Center. There is an 18-meter indoor/outdoor pool on the fifth floor with a retractable roof. Guests have indoor access to Top of the Hub restaurant and lounge on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center Tower and its spectacular views. Apropos Restaurant features an open-air kitchen/buffet area, serving creative American cuisine. The Turning Point Lobby Lounge offers cocktails and appetizers in the wide-open lounge furnished with upholstered high-back chairs and plush couches laden with throw pillows.
Guestrooms. The Sheraton Boston offers 1,216 guestrooms with views of the Charles River. Rooms have sleigh beds with Sealy Posturepedic "Plush Top" mattresses, triple sheets and six pillows. Navy velvet drapes complement natural-tone carpets and cherry-wood furnishings. The hotel even offers special dog beds. All rooms include high-speed Internet access, voice mail and cable television.
Expert Tip. Delux, a restaurant/bar, is located just one mile from the hotel. The Delux is decorated with record covers and local art.
