Location. The Hyatt Regency Boston is a modern high-rise hotel located in downtown Boston, Mass., two blocks from the financial district and three miles from Logan International Airport. This centrally located hotel is one block from Macy's and two blocks from Filene's Basement, Boston Common and Freedom Trail.
Hotel Features. The Hyatt Regency Boston caters to the individual needs of the guests. Room service is available 24-hours-a-day from the in-house restaurant, Avenue One, with a menu including Alaskan red king salmon, braised lamb shank, fire-grilled filet mignon and fondue favorites. The second floor lobby lounge features black and brown marble floors, dark woods, fresh floral arrangements and large European area carpets. The Hyatt Regency Boston offers a fully equipped fitness facility with a sauna, steam room and an indoor lap pool with an adjoining sundeck. A full service, on-site business center is also offered. The Hyatt Regency Boston boasts 24,000-square-feet of function space, including a grand ballroom with an open-air terrace and 21 meeting rooms.
Guestrooms. This 22-story Boston hotel offers 498 guestrooms located floors six through 22, with beautiful city views. All guestrooms were renovated in 2004 and feature contemporary décor, triple sheeting, down comforters and fluffy down pillows. Work desks include ergonomic chairs. Guestrooms also include minibars, armchairs and bathrobes. Wireless Internet access, CD players, 27-inch flat-screen televisions are also provided.
Expert Tip. Filene's Basement, just two blocks from the hotel, has been a Boston icon since 1947. The original store is simplistic offering the best in designer clothing in simple wooden bins with no décor. The store is home to the Running of the Brides, a one day event each year where brides from throughout the United States and across the globe come out to purchase that one of a kind dress at drastically reduced prices.

Driving Directions
From Boston-Logan International Airport:
Exit airport and go through the Sumner Tunnel.
Follow signs to I-93 South to Exit #23 High Street.
After 2 blocks turn right onto Summer Street.
Turn left onto Kingston, then right onto Bedford.
Follow Bedford to Chauncy Street and turn left.
At the light turn right onto Avenue de Lafayette.
The Hyatt Regency Boston is located on the right.
From Mass Pike Route 90 East:
Take Exit #24A, that reads Downtown-South Station.
At the light, turn left onto Kneeland Street.
After 4 blocks turn right onto Washington Street.
At 3rd light, turn right onto Avenue de Lafayette.
The hotel is locate one-half block away on the left. |
