Location. The Bulfinch hotel stands in Boston's historic Bulfinch Triangle, within one-half mile of downtown Boston's premiere attractions such as Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the TD Bank North sports arena. This 80 room boutique style hotel presents affordable, contemporary accommodations in a fully restored 19th century Building. Logan International Airport is a 20- minute drive away and three miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The flat-iron building that now hosts the hotel was built in the 1800s. The Bulfinch Hotel opened in 2004 and now provides a range of modern services. This entirely non-smoking property offers fitness equipment, a 24-hour front desk, room service and dry cleaning services. The lobby-level Angus Beef Steakhouse serves certified Angus Beef steaks and a menu of fresh New England seafood. The steakhouse also features a full-service lounge with a selection of wines, beers and cocktails.
Guestrooms. The Bulfinch Hotel's 80 guestrooms and junior suites present relaxing comforts and unique character, complementing the hotel's exceptional personal service. Rooms are embellished with fine linens in soft whites, light browns and warm taupe hues demonstrate leading- edge design to create chic distinction. Guest bathrooms feature marble-tiled baths and walk-in showers. Complimentary high-speed Internet access, cable television, CD players and desks are also provided.
Expert Tip. In order to turn the 1880s industrial building into a modern hotel, a new steel frame had to be inserted and the entire building had to be sprayed with concrete to support the three extra floors that were added to the building. The odd shape of the building also makes each room in the nose of the building different from the next.
